Employee Profile: Amanda Viets

This month we are putting the employee spotlight on the creative and wonderful Amanda Viets who works as a designer at Spaces, Inc.About AmandaAmanda grew up in a very small town in the middle of Kansas and knew from a young age that she wanted to pursue design. She knew she could do big things and ventured off to the “big” city to pursue her degree in fine arts!

Amanda lives with her husband of 9 years and their beautiful daughter. She loves to read, bake, and especially enjoys being a mom. Amanda spends her free time hanging out with her husband, daughter and her Cockapoo dog, Sophie.

Professional Experience and EducationAmanda has an amazing, 12 years of experience under her belt in the industry. Along with her experience, Amanda has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Kansas. Amanda worked as a designer for an office design company for a year before beginning her career at Spaces, Inc.

Why She Loves Working at Spaces, Inc“I love the family atmosphere and the team approach to projects. My favorite experience was our recent win of a big project that was by far the largest project I have worked on. It was a lot of fun seeing and being a part of a project of that magnitude from start to finish.”
